## How the test works

1. Order the kit and collect a dried blood spot with a finger-prick at home.
2. Mail the collection card to the partner laboratory in Mexico City.
3. The laboratory rehydrates the sample and stains it with Thioflavin T.
4. High-resolution fluorescence video microscopy records the sample at 20x magnification.
5. You receive a report of the microscopy findings.

Amyloid Test sells an at-home amyloid fibrin test: a finger-prick dried blood sample, stained with Thioflavin T and recorded with fluorescence video microscopy at a partner laboratory. It is laboratory observational data for informational purposes, not a diagnostic test. The Science Hub explains the research on fibrin amyloid microclots, amyloid fibrils, spike protein and Long COVID, with sources on every article.
